The extension project promotes the exchange of knowledge between students in the health field and the community. Through humanization actions, the project uses laughter therapy and recreational activities to make the experience more dynamic and welcoming, contributing to improving the quality of life of the participants. To publicize the project's extension actions, an Instagram page (@dosedesorrisosufj) was created, where photos and videos of the activities carried out are shared. The profile is maintained by the project members themselves. The Dose of Smiles actions were carried out in several spaces, including the Dr. Serafim de Carvalho State Hospital of Jataí, the Padre Tiago da Providência de Deus Hospital, the São Vicente de Paula Shelter, the Transitional Home, the Vila Vida Elderly Care Center and the Children's Home. These locations were strategically chosen to reach different audiences and strengthen the social impact of the project.
