Prof. Dr. Mônica Rodrigues Ferreira Machado

Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Goiás (2002), Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Santa Maria (2005) and PhD in Animal Science from the Federal University of Goiás (2009). She has a postdoctoral degree in Veterinary Sciences from the Federal University of Lavras and she's currently an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Goiás. She's coordinator of the morphophysiology laboratory and LABFISH. LABFISH develops research using tropical and serious fish, involving ecotoxicity, toxicity of natural extracts, physiotherapeutic techniques, pathophysiology of reproduction and biotechniques applied to reproduction. She is vice president of the animal ethics committee and serves as a reviewer in different journals. (Text informed by the author)
